In the Gospel of Matthew the birth of Jesus is a very small, very private affair. If you hadnâ t been paying attention you would have missed it. But someone was paying attantion: the wise men. Are there signs of Godâ s presence and activity all around us, too, and do we miss them not because they arenâ t there, but because we arenâ t looking?
