Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Jazz Combos performance on Wednesday, April 25, 2001 at 8:00 p.m., at the Boston University Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Jordu by Clifford Brown, Strollin by Horace Silver, Chromazone by Mike Stern, Angel Eyes by Matt Dennis, Walkin' Shoes by Gerry Mulligan, Don't Get Around Much More by Duke Ellington, Watermelon Man by Harbie Hancock, What a Difference a Day Made by Maria Grever and Stanley Adams, After You've Gone by Creamer and Layton, Perdido by Juan Tizol and Duke Ellington, Frettless by the Mike Williams combo, All The Things You Are by Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein, Stella by Starlight by Victor Young, Someday My Prince Will Come by Churchill, Voyage by Kenny Brown, Armageddon by Wayne Shorter, Speak Low by Hank Jones, and Caravan by Duke Ellington.
