Description
This is the concert program of the Big Brass Bonanza 2 performance on Monday, April 10, 2000 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Fanfare pour le Fin de Siecle by Richard Domek, Lumen by Frederick Speck, Variants with Solo Cadenzas by William Schmidt, Vespers (arr. Scptt Hartman) by Sergei Rachmaninov, Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral (arr. Wesley Hansen) by Richard Wagner, Schlactlied by Franz Schubert, Nocturne by David Uber, Clouds by Ge Vrijens, A Nightingale Sang on Berkley Square (arr. Manhattan Transfer) by Eric Maschwitz and Sherwin Manning, Here's that Rainy Day (arr. James Olcott) by Jim Van Heusen, Stardust (arr. Robert Hughes) by Hoagy Carmichael, There's a Great Day Coming (arr. Terry R. Everson) by Will Lamartine Thompson, What the Birds See by John Berners, and Ballad of the Sun by Anthony DiLorenzo.
