Description
This is the concert program of the Evening of Opera Scenes performance on Wednesday, October 28, and Thursday, October 29, 1987, at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Scenes performed were Act I excerpt from The Marriage of Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte, Act I, ii from Cosi fan tutte by W. A. Mozart with libretto by L. d. Ponte, Act I, ii from Don Pasquale by Gaetano Donizetti with libretto by Giovanni Ruffini, Act I, ii from Eugen Onegin by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky with libretto after Pushkin, and Act II excerpt from La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi with libretto by Franceso Maria Piave.
