Description
This is the concert program of the Guest Artist Concert of Valery Gradow, violin and the Academian Violinists of Mannheim, Germany performance on Wednesday, October 28, 1998 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts. Works performed were Sonata in E-flat major, Op. 12, No. 3 by Ludwig van Beethoven, Fantasy for Violin and Piano by Arnold Schoenberg, Fantasy on a Theme from the "Golden Cockerel" by Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Sonata for Solo Violin, Op. 27, No. 6 by Eugene Ysaye, Navarra for Two Violins and Piano, Op. 33 by Pable de Sarasate, Theme and Variation (1932) by Oliver Messiaen, Fantasy in C major, D. 934 by Franz Schubert, and Quartet for Four Violins, Grazyna Bacewicz.
