Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Symphonic Band performance on Tuesday, May 10, 1966 at 8:30 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Serenade in E-flat, Op. 7 by Richard Strauss, Concerto for Trumpet by Johann Nepomuk Hummel, Trauermusik for Wind Instruments (after Weber) by Richard Wagner, Celebration Overture, Op. 61 by Paul Creston, Symphonies of Wind Instruments by Igor Stravinsky, and Symphony in B-flat for Band by Paul Hindemtih.
