Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Wind Symphony and Chamber Winds performance on Saturday, February 13, 1993 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman by Joan Tower, Petite Symphonie by Charles Gounod, Geschwindmarsch by Beethoven by Paul Hindemith, Folk Dances (ed. H. R. Reynolds) by Dmitri Shostakovich, "Sounds, Shapes, and Symbols" - Four Movements for Band by Leslie Bassett, and Variations on "America" (trans. Rhoads) by Charles Ives.
