Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Ensemble Concert on Friday, October 24, 1986 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were The Chimes of Liberty March by Edwin Franko Goldman, Danzon from "Fancy Free" by Leonard Bernstein, arranged by John Krance, West Side Story Selection by L. Bernstein, arranged by W. J. Duthoit, March for Americans by Ferde Grofé, Strike UP the Band by Sammy Nestico, Witches' Dance by Doug Beach and George Shutack, I Gotta Right to Sing the Blues by Harold Arlen, Basie Straight Ahead by Sammy Nestico, Symphony No. 39 in E flat major, K. 543 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Capriccio Espagnol, Op. 34 by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.
