Abstract
This is a report on differential residential movement in the South End of Boston as well as a canparison of residential movement among some of the natural areas in Central Boston. The study is concerned with the extent of movement from one residence to another and differential factors which are associated, such as age, sex, and street type. [TRUNCATED]
An outstanding fact about intra-city differential residential mobility is that it is not confined to any one kind of socio-economic area. This finding should serve as a guide in the future exploration and analyses of residential mobility, particularly from the standpoint of different types of social organization to be found within various natural areas.
