Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Wind Symphony and Chamber Winds performance on Friday, April 23, 1993 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Sonata in D major for Violin and Basso Continuo by George Frideric Handel, Music for the Royal Fireworks by G. F. Handel, "Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral" from "Lohengrin" (trans. Cailliet) by Richard Wagner, Symphony for Band by Vincent Persichetti, and Barnum and Bailey's Favorite March (arr. Bainum) by Karl L. King. Digitization for Boston University Concert Programs was supported by the Boston University Humanities Library Endowed Fund.
