This is the concert program of the Grieg Festival: Grieg and His Romantic Contemporaries performance on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 6:30 p.m., at the Marshall Room, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were En svane / A swan Opus 24 No. 2 by Edward Grieg, Drømme / Dreams Op. 69 No. 5 by E. Grieg, Pioggia (Pompilj) from Sei Liriche, prima serie by Ottorino Respighi, "In the silence of the mysterious night" Opus 4 No. 3 by Sergei Rachmaninoff, "How fair this spot" Opus 21 No. 7 by S. Rachmaninoff, "Spring Torrents" Opus 14 No. 11 by S. Rachmaninoff, I. Allegretto ben moderato from Sonata for Violin and Piano in A major by César Franck, Songs on poetry by Victor Hugoby Franz Liszt, selections from Pisne milostné / Love Songs by Anton Dvorák, and I. Molto moderato quasi lento - Allegro - Piu presto from Piano Quintet by César Franck.
