Abstract
The conductivity of a group of triarylchloromethanes in liquid sulfur dioxide has been investigated over a wide range of concentration at several temperatures. All of the compounds used in this work were very carefully purified and then analyzed for hydrolyzable chloride. A compound was considered pure when the analysis showed theoretical hydrolyzable chlorine within the experimental error which was three parts per thousand. These results were corroborated by micro analysis. [TRUNCATED]
