Description
This is the concert program of the String Department Student Recital on Wednesday, December 4, 1991 at 8:00 p.m., at the Marshall Room, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Chaconne for Violin by Tommaso Antonio Vitali (arr. Charlier), II. Nun laube, Linlein, laube - Fugato: Der Gutzgauch auf dem Zaune sass and III. Variations: Seid ihr nicht der Schwanendreher from Der Schwanendreher by Paul Hindemith, Concerto in G major, Op. 14 by Samuel Barber, Scottish Fantasy, Op. 46 by Max Bruch, Praeludium and Allegro by Gaetano Pugnani (arr. Fritz Kreisler), Concerto in A major for Violin and Piano, K. 219 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Tempo di Ciaccona from Sonata for Unaccompanied Violin, Op. 117 by Béla Bartók, and Andante cantabile and Allegro vivacissimo from Concerto in D major for Violin, Op. 35 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
