Abstract
Description
Case in which a patient admitted for possible unstable angina experiences recurrent chest discomfort, demonstrating acute coronary syndrome with ischemic mitral regurgitation and heart failure. This resource teaches recognition of the S4 gallop and acute mitral regurgitation murmur, while explaining how myocardial ischemia leads to papillary muscle dysfunction and acute cardiac decompensation.
