Abstract
Devices in the Internet of Things are increasingly interdependent. As the number of IoT devices grow, the potential for failure in at least one becomes increasingly significant. When a process fails or is attacked, the system should be able to persist and then recover. This thesis investigates the implementation of neural networks to assist in recovery by acting for failed components. In addition, it permits the re-creation of the results achieved in the joint paper.
