Abstract
It has been the central purpose of this dissertation to show that the structure of personality as conceived by Leibniz and Schopenhauer is employed as a key analogy to facilitate the understanding of their respective theories of knowledge and reality.
The method of analogy is a method of comparing structures which are similar, but not identical. Analogy is defined as a type of predication in which the same term, concept or word is predicated of two or more objects with meanings that are partly the same and partly different[TRUNCATED]
