Abstract
This research project was undertaken to study the root canal anatomy of the mesiobuccal root of the maxillary first molar. The frequency of occurrence of two canals; the incidence and location of accessory canal; and the number of orifices in the floor of the pulp chamber will be documented. This will provide the student of anatomy a more complete understanding of the complexities of the root canal system of this tooth.
