Description
This is the concert program of the Ellalou Dimmock Honors Voice Recital on Tuesday, January 25, 2000 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were On the brow of Richmond Hill, Music for a While, and I'll sail upon the Dog-star all by Henry Purcell, "The Lord is a Man of War" from "Israel in Egypt" by George Frederic Handel, Wir wandelten, Op. 96 No. 2, Die Mainacht, Op. 43 No. 2, and Von ewiger Liebe, Op. 43 No. 1 by Johannes Brahms, Archibald Douglas, Op. 128 by Carl Loewe, Pleurs d'Or by Gabriel Faure, Puisqu-ici bas by Gabriel Faure, Der Musikant, An die Geliebte, An den Schlaf, and Liebesgluck all by Hugo Wolf, The Side Show, Autumn, The Light that is Felt, Down East, Maple Leaves, and The Circus Band all by Charles Ives, and "Nahandove," "Aoua!," and "Il est doux de ses coucher" from Chansons Madecasses by Maurice Ravel.
