Description
This is the concert program of the Greater Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras performance on Sunday, May 12, 1985 at 7:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Allegro from Concerto in A minor, Op. 3 No. 8 for Two violins, string ensemble, and harpsichord by Antonio Vivaldi, Grave and Allegro moderato from Sonata da Chiesa in C minor, Op. 1 No. 1 by Arcangelo Corelli, Overture, In Italian Style, C major, D. 590 by Franz Schubert, Concerto in C minor for Oboe and String Orchestra by Benedetto Marcello, Peer Gynt Suite, No. 1, Op. 46 by Edvard Grieg, and Prince Igor: Polovtsian by Alexander Borodin.
