Abstract
This study is needed to acquaint music educators with the wider application of music in areas of activity other than just the school and the concert halls. These areas where music is used in a manner different from that of the public school and concert hall include: A. Music in the industries over a reproducing system as an accompaniment to work B. Workers participating in choral groups, bands, orchestras and shows. The uses of music in our modern industries with its various possibilites, advantages and contribution to the morale of the worker, has been investigated in this study.
