Description
This is the concert program of the Concert of String Department Students on Thursday, January 29, 1987 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Sonata for Cello and Piano in A major by Luigi Boccherini, Adagio from Unaccompanied Suite No. 5 in C by Johann Sebastian Bach, Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Op. 28 by Camille Saint-Saëns, Concerto No. 4 for Violin and Piano, OP. 31 by Henri Vieuxtemps, Campanella by Niccolo Paganini, arranged by Fritz Kreisler, Allegro from COncerto in D major, No. 4, K. 218 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Allegro commodo from Arpeggione for Cello and Piano by Franz Schubert, Concerto for Violin and Piano by Béla Bartók, and Symphonie espagnole, Op. 21 by Edouard Lalo.
