Abstract
The Author's Masters Project is based on a year's field experience with the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center, Inc., in the planning and development of a neighborhood health center.
The project will focus on Community Outreach, one aspect of organizing the city of New Bedford's first health center.
Community Outreach will be aimed at establishing a community representative governing board of directors; recruiting volunteers to serve on planning committee, disseminating information on all aspects of equipment, time, money, and promote community involvement and participation.
