This is the concert program of the An Evening of Song performance on Tuesday, March 12, 1996 at 6:00 p.m., at the Boston University Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts. Works performed were "Frühlingsmorgen" from Lieder und Gesänge, "Liebst du um Schönheit" from Rückertlieder, and "Ablösung" from Des Knaben Wunderhorn by Gustav Mahler; Sweet Suffolk Owl by Richard Hundley; The Children's Hour and Two Little Flowers by Charles Ives; Aprile, Ideale, and L'ultima Canzone by Francesco Paolo Tosti; Fêtes Galantes I by Claude Debussy; Der Musensohn, Op. 92, No. 1 by Franz Schubert; "Weep You No More" from Seven Elizabethan Songs, Op. 12, No. 1 and Love's Philosophy by Roger Quilter; from Ariettes Oubliées by Claude Debussy; Three Dream Portraits by Margaret Bonds; Airs chantés by Francis Poulenc; "Bei der Wiege" from Six Songs, Op. 47, No. 6 and "Auf flügeln des Gesanges" from Six Songs, Op. 34, No. 2 by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy; Vaghissima sembianza by Stefano Donaudy; Pastorale, Ma vie a son secret, and Chanson d'avril by Georges Bizet; and from Cabaret Songs by Arnold Schoenberg.
