This is the concert program of the A Tribute to Gardner Read Celebrating his 85th Year performance on Friday, September 25, 1998 at 8:00 p.m., at The Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts. Works performed were From a Lute of Jade, Op. 36, Songs for a Rainy Night, Op. 48, Fantasy - Toccata for Solo Harpsichord, Three Songs for Mezzo-Soprano, Op. 68, Jungle Gardens by Moonlight, Op. 54, No. 2, Spider Monkeys, Op. 54, No. 3, and Nocturnal Visions, Op. 145 by Gardner Read.
