Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Wind Symphony and Chamber Winds performance on Sunday, December 6, 1992 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Octet in E-flat major, Op. 103 by Ludwig van Beethoven, Neichar ("Foreign Land") by Yuval Shay-El, Concerto for Trompone (arr. Poul Ivan Møller) by Launy Gröndahl, Octet for Wind Instruments by Igor Stravinsky, ...and the mountains rising nowhere by Joseph Schwantner, and Shepherd's Hey by Percy Grainger.
