Description
This is the concert program of the Concert of String Department Students on Tuesday, February 24, 1987 at 6:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Sonata No. 2 in A minor for Violin Solo by Johann Sebastian Bach, Allegro from Concerto in B minor for Viola and Orchestra by George Frideric Handel, Allegro aperto from Concerto No. 5 in A major for Violin and Orchestra by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, "Parable" for Double Bass Alone by Vincent Persichetti, Allegro moderato from Concerto in D minor for Violin and Orchestra, Op. 47 by Jean Sibelius, Partita in D minor for viola unaccompanied by J. S. Bach, Sonata in B flat major for Violin and Piano, K. 454 by W. A. Mozart, and Allegro from Concerto in D major for Cello and Orchestra by Franz Joseph Haydn.
