Abstract
The exceptionally stable metallic complexes formed by triglycine, ethylenediamine-tetraacetic acid, and other polycarboxylic amino acids have recently been the subject of much study. These complexes are frequently water-soluble, highly colored, and only slightly dissociated. In many cases, solubility in non-polar organic solvents has been noted. [TRUNCATED]
