Abstract
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM. The possibilities for adapting team teaching techniques for music at the elementary level are virtually unexplored. The purposes of this study were to (1) investigate the organization of team teaching; (2) to utilize team planning in music; (3) to explore the possibilities of adapting large group instruction in music; (4) to formulate a rationale and model for this technique; (5) to apply the model for music instruction and (6) to report on the utilization of small group and independent study patterns in music within team teaching.
