Abstract
The Mandinka Ajami Reader builds on the Ajami manuscripts digitized in Senegal and The Gambia. It contains six thematic units with biographical information and images of the authors or discussants of the manuscripts, texts in Mandinka Ajami along with Latin-script transcriptions and English translations, images of Ajami user communities, glossaries and notes, and pedagogical exercises. The six units are also complemented by corresponding video interviews with subtitles in English and Mandinka, images, glossaries, and practical exercises.
