Slides from a brief presentation entitled “Movies, Copyright, and the Public Domain,” for an Open Access Month 2017 event which was followed by a screening of silent films, curated and presented by Jonathan Foltz (Assistant Professor of Film and Literature, at Boston University), which highlight some of the elements of the fantastic and the surreal that make early cinema so fascinating.
