Description
This is the concert program of the Richmond Competition Recital: Kyra Xuerong Zhao on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were No. 3, 6, and 10 from Musica Ricercata by György Ligeti, No. 11 Pour les arpèges composés, No. 7 Pour les derés chromatiques, and No. 5 Pour les Octaves from Douze Etudes L. 136 by Claude Debussy, Sonata No. 17 in D minor, Op. 31 No. 2 by Ludwig van Beethoven, Sonata No. 21 in C major, Op. 53 by L. v. Beethoven, and Polonaise from Eugene Onegin Op. 24 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, arranged by Franz Liszt.
