Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Symphonic Band performance on Tuesday, April 27, 1965 at 8:30 p.m., at Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Concerto Grosso in C major from "Alexander's Feast" by George Frideric Handel-Malin, Symphonie No. 19, Op. 46 by Nicolai Miaskowsky, Karelia Suite by Jean Sibelius-Goldman and Richardson, Fêtes from "Three Nocturnes" by Claude Debussy-Schaefer, Five Miniatures by Joaquin Turina-Krance, and Celebration Overturn, Op. 61 by Paul Creston.
