Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Jazz Ensemble performance on Thursday, March 26, 1998 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Strike Up The Band by George Gershwin/Sammy Nestico, You Go To My Head by Gillespie and Coots/Bill Holman, The Bass Was Made For Walkin' by Thad Jones, Samba Dubois by Phil Woods, Tru To Myself by John La Porta, Fried Bananas by Dexter Gordon/Michele Caniato, Wait 'n See by Michele Caniato, Slide's Derangement by Slide Hampton, Duke Ellington's Sound of Love by Charles Mingus/Jeff Friedman, and Struttin' by David Caffey.
