Daphne Lange Rosenzweig, Ph.D., has spent most of her life as a specialist in the field of Asian Art and Archaeology. After earning her A.B. from Mount Holyoke College and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Asian Art and Archaeology and Far Eastern Languages and Literature from Columbia University, she conducted research at the National Palace Museum in Taipei, Taiwan, on a Fullbright Scholarship. She is the author of over 55 books and articles on Asian art, and has edited books for the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC. Dr. Rosenzweig is currently on the faculty at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL, where she teaches courses in Japanese, Chinese, Buddhist, and Islamic art, Western architecture, and Japanese prints. She has traveled extensively throughout Asia, and her travels have yielded a significant collection of personal images that have been graciously donated to Boston University's International Center for East Asian Archaeology and Cultural History.
