Abstract
Description
Implementation guide for the standalone systematic approach to bedside cardiac assessment materials using 14 self-directed video learning sets (Learning Sets A-M). This resource provides step-by-step instructions for learners to independently learn the “History + 6-step” approach, or for course directors to facilitate group discussions. Includes the foundational "Listen Before You Auscultate" frameworks, covers history-taking, hemodynamic assessment, PMI examination, right and left heart evaluation, cardiac auscultation (gallops and murmurs), and confirmatory studies. Total learning time: 1.5-2 hours with integrated cognitive exercises and self-assessment opportunities.
