Biography: Imam El-hadji Kemo Drame was born in Sonkodou-Nema. His family later relocated to Limana-Diattacounda in the region of Sedhiou where he spent a few years. Afterwards, his family retuned to Mankonomba, where he completed his advanced Islamic education. He later moved to Ivory Coast in 1958, where he spent fourty five years serving as an Imam and farmer. He returned home to Mankonomba in 2003 where he currently serves as Imam.
