    Maqāmāt Al-Ḥarīrī with extensive glosses

    The manuscript is a copy of Maqāmāt Al-Ḥarīrī, with extensive glosses in Arabic and Soninke Ajami. The book is widely known among Arab and Muslim scholars. It was written by Abū Muḥammad al-Qāsim ibn ‘Ali ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Ali al-Ḥarīrī, also known as Al-Ḥarīrī of Basra (1054-1122). It was copied by Arfang Fanding Solly, the grandfather of the current owner of the manuscript.
