Abstract
This material is a eulogy dedicated to Serigne Ndame Abdourahmane Lo, an important Murid scholar and educator. The poem traces his biography and highlights his dedication to education during and after Cheikh Amadou Bamba's deportation to Mauritania and his role in the quranic training of Bamba's children (Serigne Mouhammadou Moustapha Mbacke, Elhadji Fallilou Mbacke, and Serigne Abdou Khadre Mbacke).
Based on the interview with the owner, the material was written in 1943.
